The book is in good + condition with a neat gift inscription dated 1933 to the half title page. There is a large water stain to the bottom corner of the front and rear covers, and foxing to the end papers and page edges.
The dust wrapper is very good condition and is not price clipped. There is some loss to the top/base of the spine and top edges of the front and rear cover. The fore-edge of the front cover is worn. The wrapper comes in a clear unattached protective cover.
Signed by the author without dedication to the title page.
