The book is in fine condition with no marks or inscriptions.
The dust wrapper is in near fine condition, and is not price clipped. The reverse side of the wrapper has just the hint of colour transfer from the cover at the very top of the spine area, which is not visible to the front of the wrapper. The wrapper comes in a clear unattached protective cover.
Signed and dated by the illustrator without dedication to the half title page. Illustrated in colour and published to mark the 50th anniversary of the original publication.
