The book is in very good condition with a small gift inscription dated 1946 written on the fep. The stitching to the first few pages whilst still holding is just a shade lose. The boards are a touch marked, as are the pages. The rear end paper is creased.
This is in all likelihood a second or third impression given the date of the inscription and the only other book referenced in an advert to the rear is the second title in the series 'Thomas the Tank Engine', published in 1946.
